the society now is all about MONEY. people say singapore is a paper society -- you get where you are based on your qualifications. sorry but i think singapore is a money society. fuck! doesnt anyone ever wonder why their parents only received secondary education but still manage to get such a high-paying and yet stable job? fcuk whoever that tells me qualifications are important. we're studying just so to create jobs and income for the so-called educators. this society is all about comparing the MONEY you have. the more loaded you are, you get more 'prestigious' qualifications like overseas certificate. just like foreign students coming to SP to study... why? because they have the money and the means to buy themselves a more prestigious qualification than any that they can get in their homeland. and with the more 'prestigious' qualifications bought by MONEY, we all look for a job. pay $2k a year for poly, pay less than $1k for jc education. isnt it just all about money? fk. make us spend one-third of our lives studying and accumulating all the debts. then spend the next two-thirds of our lives trying to clear off the debts in vain. and even before we manage to clear them or just shortly after we clear them, we die.
